More Lovin' From The Cows

I have no idea how much longer the calves will be at the farm so every chance we get I ask to go out there.  I love them so much and even though it is soooooo hot I want to go out there and visit my little friends.  When we drove up the cows were under the trees.  I kid you not as soon as I walked out and started calling for Twilight he cam out of the heard over to me.  There he is out on front, my heart melts each time!!
Here he is talking to me,"Hello human mama you took long enough to come see me again!"
Isn't he so handsome!!!
I love his big ol head!  I hope he'll go and be somebody's bull and not hamburger meat.  I can't really think about too much b/c it literally makes me sad.
These are 2 of our favorite babies, Baby(tan boy cow- so friendly!!) and Twilight
This was so funny, baby is like a giant puppy.  He loves the girls and here he is following Mac.
Hey Mac I'm still back here, I will follow you until you pet me.
Yep still here
Hey I'm not too proud to not nibble on your hair. Baby likes to nibble and will come up and give you little love bites. ;o)
Seriously, your hair tastes yummy
FINALLY all I wanted was a little love
Kiss kiss
Oh good another person to love me
Mille and April!
Ok hmmmm,,, Which one is Twilight? Literally while I'm looking at these 2 cows that look a lot alike. They start head butting each other like they were fighting over who was indeed Twilight.  Twilight is on the left.
About to leave and we said our goodbyes and as I'm leaving April starts coming over for more love.  Who can resist that??
I just want to grab her big ol head and hug her, she's so sweet!!!
Here's what your hand looks like after loving on the cows.  Shocking that my hands are always the dirtiest!!!

Mac's Awesome Pottery

The girls have been super busy the past few weeks with different camps.  Mille started out the summer with Midway basketball camp which she has done the past 3 years.  She loves it and did AWESOME this year.  She got a bag of Skittles 2 days in a row which made her a happy camper.  The 2nd week Mac had Pottery Camp.  This is a new camp for us but I know both girls will want to do it next year.  Mac had so much fun and the treasures she made are awesome!!! Both girls are doing an Art Camp at RVI this week and they LOVE it.  Mille comes home each day just full of information about the day.  I don't know if she likes the camp or the fact that she's at River Valley more.  She was so excited to see the school Mac goes too(sadly it won't be long b/4 she's at that school and Mac is at the Middle School- excuse me while I throw up and cry at the same time)
This is the birdhouse Mac made.  Isn't it so precious?!!! She made it from scratch and I love it.
Her leave plate, my gosh I would have bought this at a store!!!  It is even prettier in person, matches the house to a T!
Leave bowl, it's a maple leaf curved into a bowl with little stem holders.  I love it.
A little fat owl she made for me b/c she knows I love owls.
Her ballerina garden gnome.
Mille had to have some of Mac's pieces so she chose 2 sweet little bowls and a precious shell vase.  Mac came home each day telling me about her pottery but I had no idea how amazing it was going to turn out.  These are things I will treasure forever.  She also made a precious fish at school, and I mean PRECIOUS!!
I made a few 4th of July wreaths, 1 for me 1 for Kay and 1 for my daddy.
I made stick horses for Lake City.  The girls(I think) are going to ride these in the 4th of July parade.  They were all made from scraps that I had in the house, I didn't buy a thing.  I don't know if that means I'm very resourceful or that I have too much stuff in my office. Hmmmm I'm going with the first!
This is Mac's she called her Lilly.  Mac loves polka dots so she was happy.
This is an extra, Chloe can use it or whoever.
This is Miss Mille bugs.  It's the same fabric of her bedding and it has zebra ears(she loves zebra) plus a green bridle.
Craig is going to use this one.  I tired to make it boyish, I think it's very handsome.  He said it's the least girlie, Hmmmm not the response I was looking for. Oh well I'm sure he'll look very cute on Old Chevron.

WooHoo, GO MILLE!

I don't have any pics to put up right now but just happened to read my last post about dance company.  Well I'm happy to say that Mille made dance company!  I checked my email over and over and as soon as I got the "Jenni Holley" email my stomach dropped.  I had been waiting for what seemed like forever and then when it came I felt sick.  I left the room and checked it, it was 9:30 p.m.  I ran back in the room(Mac and Mille were with me b/c we were watching a movie)and just smiled at Mille.  Then she asked if she made it and when I said yes she and Mac started jumping on the bed.  Mac was so sweet, she said "Now we are company sisters too! I bet we are the youngest set of company sisters at JHDS right now."  I wanted to surprise Mille and fill her room with balloons but Craig was out of town and the girls were sleeping in m room and plus you can't exactly order balloons at 9:30 p.m.!  Of course the main reason I didn't wait is b/c I couldn't!!!  I was too excited.  It will be awesome to have 2 girls doing the same thing that they both LOVE!!  The next day was spent dancing around the house and making up dances together.  It was awesome.  I love my 2 girls and I mostly love that they love each other.

A Few Things I've Learned About Myself

I've learned a few thing about myself over the past few days.
1) I love summer because I LOVE being with my girls!
2) My daughters couldn't be more different.  One is organized the other is...well...not organized.
3) I might be the most impatient person on the planet earth.
I sum this up with the words LOVE,  TOLERATION and PATIENCE.

First is pretty obvious, I love summer because that means my girls are home and I get to see them ALL day.  They've grown up so much and being with them is so precious to me.  I know that pretty soon they will probably be too cool for me so I'm eating up the quality time I have with them.  As we speak Twilight is on t.v. and as soon as Mac realizes this she stops playing Wii to come watch. I ask her why and she says she just really likes it.  I ask is it b/c of McHotty (my name for Robert Pattison?) She gives me a smirk, then I ask do you think he's cute??? Her reply,"Doesn't everybody?!" HaHa love it!
The 2nd thing I've learned is that my girls are so different it's insane!!!  Thankfully they are enough alike that they get along great.  My example of this is the girl's room.  Mac's room is neat and organized, not to mention the fact that she's so much like me it's scary at times.  She asked today if she could move furniture around b/c she "Likes to mix things up" WOW she is my child!!!  Mille on the other hand....she is a stash and shover.  Her room literally scares me at times. I will walk in to dust it and I have to walk out b/c I feel like I might have a panic attack from all the junk lurking in the closet.
Lastly I am getting a good sense of how I have no patience.  i've known this for a while but I really didn't realize how bad it was until this week.  I'm very much of a "Don't put off till tomorrow what you can get done today type person."  It drives Craig crazy, but I can't tell you how much it comes in handy.  We even each other out, I guess.  Mille tried out for Dance Company in May and Jenni said she'll send an email out after the recital.  There wasn't a date given just a promise of "after the recital."  Y'all I can't tell you how many times I've checked my email.  Let's just say if I had to pay $1 for each email check I would owe about $100,000! The sad part is I'm not being that sarcastic.  Mille has been asking about every 30 minutes for the past 4 days so has Mac.  Man it's funny how much things like this can consume you.  I've even waked up in the middle of the night to check my email.  I hope Mille makes it, she is too.  Mille and Mac did so great at the recital, I was blown away at how well they did!!!

Well I'm off to enjoy time with my girls (watching Twilight with Mac) enjoying the fact that Mille's room is super clean right now and back to checking my email for the 100,001 oh no wait 100,002 time today! AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaa!

We went to breakfast together as soon as summer began.  Mille had been at a friends the night before so Mac really missed her.  She was being all "kissy kissy" You can tell Mille wasn't sure about that.
My babies!!!
Saw Epic, it was indeed EPIC
Great movie!
Oh darling you are beautiful!
Bungee bouncing!

Recital time!!
Me and my babies!!
Shiree and The 4 Musketeers
Mille got her ears pierced (for the 2nd time) with the help of Mac's friends!
Mac in her "mini Shiree" dress.  We were picking up Mille from basketball.  Funny thing is I had on a t-shirt and yoga pants and explained to her we were going to be cleaning the house.   This is what she puts on, she's a girly girl what can I say!!!
This is the mess that resided in Mille's closet!  The scary thing is, when you walked in her closet you didn't see over 1/2 of it.  The child is very good and shoving and hiding clothes.
Clothes to go through that were "stuffed" in her drawers.

Still waiting on results.  Literally checked my email 10 times while writing this post.

How is this possible???

Today is the last day that my babies will be 5th and 3rd graders.  It might not seem like a big deal to many people but to me it's just plain sad.  Honestly I've been holding back tears for a while now and I think I need to go ahead and have a big cry because otherwise I might loose it at a random time and I can promise you it will be the full on UGLY cry.  It seems like just yesterday that I was taking Mille up to South Bosque and walking Mac to her Kindergarten room and telling Mille this would be her school one day.  One day...my baby will be a 4th grader next year and we won't be at South Bosque anymore(ok tears are welling in my eyes right now.)  I wish our school were like Little House on the Prairie, you just stay in the same school your whole life.  Then that brings me to my other baby, Mac.  She will be a 6th grader.  What will that bring?  Will she still be sweet and think I hung the moon?  I know it's the inevitable but I so hope she doesn't become the "too smart for her parents" tween.  Until that happens(maybe it won't you never know!) I'm going to soak up EVERY moment with these precious babies.  I'm so blessed to call them my daughters, they are my heart.

Thank you to Leslie Rhea we are now starting a new tradition, ice cream for breakfast!  Woohoo!! The girls had no idea and when I told them they were pumped!!  Mille of course wanted a little of all flavors.  We had Krazy Kookie Dough, Mint Chocolate Chip and Dutch Chocolate.
Love my babies!!!
Mac just wanted Mint Chocolate Chip(4 scoops I might add!)
Mille adding some topping!  I think she added some gummy bears(her favorite) Reeses and Kit Kat.
My little one of course striking a pose.
They are so big and look so old!!!
Sillies!  Can't wait for summer!
What what!
That's right 6th grade and 4th grade (yuck is all i can say, how about Kindergarten and mom's day out! That's better!)
Mac and her little nugget as she calls Granger
Striking her pose love little Mille in the back ground.
Can you tell I'm sad about my baby growing up?  There she goes her last day on the bus to 3rd grade.
Bye sweet baby, today she is pumped because a friend invited her to ride a limo to U Swirl.  See she's no longer my baby.  She goes on out of town weekend trips with awesome friends to the lake, takes limo rides and trys out for Dance Company (hopefully will find out results in a couple of weeks) she is not really a baby anymore but a tween.  Oh well she still loves my lap more than anything else so you can bet that tonight my lap will have a 9 year old on one leg and a 11 year old on the other leg.
My cup runneth over!

Now I'm going to cry :o)
