Oh we've been busy people around here!

I will warn you that this entry has a lot of pics!  We have been busy around here and these pics are just from 1 week.  The first few are of Craig and the girls.  Craig as many of you know has been super busy and has been working and studying as Mac calls it "Study Comma." This past weekend he took off and we has a blast!  One of those weekends that you never forget and just want to happen every weekend!  Craig even played hooky Thursday and we had a date!  We had so much fun just hanging out, we went to breakfast, looked at Christmas trees(we have to get a new one this year), got a flu shot (nothing say I love you like a vaccination!) ate lunch with both of the girls and then went to a movie!(side note it's a good idea to check how long the movie is so you don't have to get up and leave at the last 10 minutes!  Anybody want to tell me what happened at the end of Moneyball?)  This pic is of Mac and Craig, they hadn't seen each other in about a week!  It was a school night and Mac didn't get home from dance until 8:30 but Mille asked if we could have family movie night and Craig said "Sure why not?!"  Coolest dad ever!
Mille and Daddy
Watching a movie...AWESOME!  Mille was asleep about 20 minutes into the movie but C, Mac, and I stayed awake to finish it.  We watched Parent Trap.
Craig wanted to do something fun with the girls so he decided to bake a cherry pie with them.  I love this man, he never ceases to surprise me.  Mind you he's never in the kitchen other than grilling so to the girls(and me) this was a huge surprise!  I had a hard time keeping my mouth shut.  I didn't realize what a control freak I was until watching Craig try and teach the girls how to cut dough, it was interesting.
Craig wanted the pie to have the criss-cross pattern, love it!
Showing Mille what to do. Side note: excuse the background of these pics!  My kitchen was central station that weekend.  I had material everywhere working on Mac's upcoming party and Halloween stuff out too. I'm taking the stand of a messy kitchen means you're living life!

Mille's turn.

I love Mille's face!  I don;t know if she was pouting or saying something, cute either way.
Looks good!  Mac trimmed the extra dough
Mom had to step in and tell them to melt some butter and paint it on with pastry brush then sprinkle with sugar.
Ready to go in the oven.  What 3 cutie pies!
Yummy pie!
After they made the pie my little athlete and big athlete went outside to throw the football.  Mille throws quite the spiral!
Cute dad!
Mille catching the ball
Great stance, don't you think?  She loves to play sports with her daddy.  Thank goodness b/c Mac is like me, not much of an athlete.  We love dance though!!!

Mac is principal of the day! You're going to see people dressed in a lot of black, the reason is it's Red Ribbon Week and today was "Black Out Drugs" the kids were told to wear black.
Mac and her sweet friend Isabell.

The Baylor song leaders were there to talk about Drug Safety

I sent Mac some flowers, stuffed animal, and a monkey.  She was so excited to get a delivery at school!!!!
Mac got to eat with a friend.  Abbey picked Mac when she was P.O.D. so Mac couldn't wait to ask her to do the same on her special day.  They ate Bush's and had a great time talking. Mac has had a great day and it continues b/c she gets to dress up for dance today!  WOW!

What a great week and weekend!

We started our weekend early with a wonderful performance from the 2nd graders at South Bosque.  Mille did great, she smiled and danced and sang her little heart out!  She was so precious, after some of her friends did their speaking parts she gave a thumbs up and mouthed "great job!"  Here she is with Cara, she LOVES her!!!!
Cara and 3 of her cutie girls!  Mille loves her sweet friends, Brindley and Lexi.
Mille and her music teacher, Mrs. Flowers.
Ok, this next pic is so funny!  You can't really see to the full extent what is going on in the pic so let me explain.  Cara is standing there talking to a parent and Mille has located her target and is again(yes I say agin b/c she had already hugged her and told her bye 3 times prior to this! I'm serious people!!)wrapping her arms around her and confessing her love for her.  She LOVES Cara and Cara loves Mille.  I told Cara that if she doesn't watch out Mille is going to go home with her!  Of course both of them said that would be great.  The cute thing is Cara and Mille kind of look alike, Mille loves it when I say that. I had to peel Mille off of Cara and then as we were leaving Mille spotted her yet again in the parking lot!  I'm telling you Cara might have to complain that she has a stalker. :o)
Mille posing in front of her America the Beautiful drawing.
Mac had her first real performance as a dance company member tonight!  She was so excited!!!  In this picture she has her back to the camera, 4th from the left.  I actually bought a fake ponytail and attached it under her real pony to give it some pep!  She and her dance team did so great!  They learned a new dance and only had 5 weeks to learn it so that is great.
Mac has her back to us on the right.  McKenna, her best friend from preschool is facing her with the blond hair.  They are great friends and have been texting each other all the time.  I'm so glad they're on team together and will be at River Valley together.
Cutie pie!  She did so good!!! She was smiling nonstop and made great eye contact.

Coming out to take a bow.

After their awesome performance we went and rode some rides!  Bubby, Peyton, Chris, Landon and Grampy were there too. Grampy actually came with me so I didn't have to go alone to the fair.
We talked Mille and Landon into riding this ride.  Mac loved it but Mille and Landon weren't so sure about it.
Look at Mille's face!  I also love Mac's face, she comforting her little sister.  Landon kept saying as he went by, "I want to get off." and I could hear Mille telling herself,"I'm ok, I'm ok." So sad but cute!
Mac rode the fire engine herself.
The girls on their airplane.
All three kiddos in the car, they are so sweet and cute!!!!!
I love this pic!  Mac has her dress hiked up on the back of Mille's bike, so funny!!!  Thank goodness she had her dance outfit on underneath.
The girls did the scary house.  Mac was fired up and Mille was scared.  Mac cracks me up b/c she loves spooky stuff(she got that from me)but after it was done she said it was boring.  Of course Mille wanted to do it again so Mac, Mille, and Landon rode it again.  Then Mille and Landon rode it by themselves.
All 3 kids did the fun house(I think that's what it was called, some climby thing) probably 7 times!  They had so much fun but we were all tired just watching them climb up all the stuff and slide down.
Weeeeee super fun! Nice shorts, huh!!!???
By this point Mac and I were so tired!!!!  Mille and Landon decided to go for one more ride.  This concluded our night at the fair and I promised the girls we aren't doing a thing tomorrow but snuggle and hang out!
