Oh we've been busy people around here!

I will warn you that this entry has a lot of pics!  We have been busy around here and these pics are just from 1 week.  The first few are of Craig and the girls.  Craig as many of you know has been super busy and has been working and studying as Mac calls it "Study Comma." This past weekend he took off and we has a blast!  One of those weekends that you never forget and just want to happen every weekend!  Craig even played hooky Thursday and we had a date!  We had so much fun just hanging out, we went to breakfast, looked at Christmas trees(we have to get a new one this year), got a flu shot (nothing say I love you like a vaccination!) ate lunch with both of the girls and then went to a movie!(side note it's a good idea to check how long the movie is so you don't have to get up and leave at the last 10 minutes!  Anybody want to tell me what happened at the end of Moneyball?)  This pic is of Mac and Craig, they hadn't seen each other in about a week!  It was a school night and Mac didn't get home from dance until 8:30 but Mille asked if we could have family movie night and Craig said "Sure why not?!"  Coolest dad ever!
Mille and Daddy
Watching a movie...AWESOME!  Mille was asleep about 20 minutes into the movie but C, Mac, and I stayed awake to finish it.  We watched Parent Trap.
Craig wanted to do something fun with the girls so he decided to bake a cherry pie with them.  I love this man, he never ceases to surprise me.  Mind you he's never in the kitchen other than grilling so to the girls(and me) this was a huge surprise!  I had a hard time keeping my mouth shut.  I didn't realize what a control freak I was until watching Craig try and teach the girls how to cut dough, it was interesting.
Craig wanted the pie to have the criss-cross pattern, love it!
Showing Mille what to do. Side note: excuse the background of these pics!  My kitchen was central station that weekend.  I had material everywhere working on Mac's upcoming party and Halloween stuff out too. I'm taking the stand of a messy kitchen means you're living life!

I love Mille's face!  I don;t know if she was pouting or saying something, cute either way.
Looks good!  Mac trimmed the extra dough
Mom had to step in and tell them to melt some butter and paint it on with pastry brush then sprinkle with sugar.
Ready to go in the oven.  What 3 cutie pies!
Yummy pie!
After they made the pie my little athlete and big athlete went outside to throw the football.  Mille throws quite the spiral!
Cute dad!

Great stance, don't you think?  She loves to play sports with her daddy.  Thank goodness b/c Mac is like me, not much of an athlete.  We love dance though!!!

Mac is principal of the day! You're going to see people dressed in a lot of black, the reason is it's Red Ribbon Week and today was "Black Out Drugs" the kids were told to wear black.

I sent Mac some flowers, stuffed animal, and a monkey.  She was so excited to get a delivery at school!!!!
Mac got to eat with a friend.  Abbey picked Mac when she was P.O.D. so Mac couldn't wait to ask her to do the same on her special day.  They ate Bush's and had a great time talking. Mac has had a great day and it continues b/c she gets to dress up for dance today!  WOW!
